Why is there risk associated in long term use of apple cider vinegar? Such as osteoporosis?
What would constitute long-term use? Also

there is NO risk, unless you drink it straight and burn your oesophagus (and it would taste pretty nasty too).
that theory was based upon ONE CASE (ever in the history of time). the fact that osteoporosis was present implies long-term malabsorption, estrogen deficiency, bad diet or sedentary habits.
osteopososis takes decades to develop, and almost exclusively occurs in post-menopausal women, or elderly men. this is because estrogen makes sure your bones stay strong. menopausal women do not produce as much estrogen and thus its protective effects are not present.
furthermore, apple cider vinegar is acidic in the gut (so is our own stomach acid), and it is buffered by bicarbonate which protects us from the acid. the worst that comes from drinking apple cider vingear is that we neutralise it with bicarbonate in the duodenum!
if you’re worried about osteoporosis, eat well (minerals), exercise (weight bearing activity) and get enough sunshine (vitamin D). apple cider vinegar is nothing to be concerned about.
