Fosamax contains alendroic acid or alendronate sodium and falls under the category of bisphosphonate drugs. This is mainly used in the treatment of osteoporosis especially for post menopausal women.  It modifies the activity of bone formation and it’s breaking down process in the system and hence reduces the bone loss, which cause to prevent fractures in aged women. This is also indicated in Paget’s disease and in steroid-stimulated osteoporosis.

You should not use Fosamax if you are not able to sit or stand properly erect for at least half an hour. It is necessary because you should sit erect and up after you take a dose of Fosamax tablet, because it may cause some problems in the esophagus. You should consume a full glass of water with each dose of Fosamax. Intake of other medicines including vitamins and calcium are prohibited within 30 minutes of taking Fosamax.

Fosamax has a complete plan with fixed diet, exercising, and intake of calcium and any other vitamin supplements for the entire treatment package. Discuss with the doctor if you have hypocalcaemia or low vitamin D level or any kidney disease including stomach ulcer. The doctor adjusts the dose according to different conditions for safe use of Fosamax. Patients with cancer and who are under chemotherapy or being treated with steroids may develop osteonecrosis.

Fosamax should be taken as recommended by your health provider and you should neither increase nor lengthen the intake of the drug without the consultation with the doctor. You should adhere to the directives given by your doctor and the instructions attached in the label of the product. Tablets of Fosamax are to be consumed once a day dose or once a week dose according to the prescription of the doctor. The best time is in the morning in empty stomach with half an hour gap before you take other food or drink or other medicine. Weekly doses are consumed at a fixed day of the week.

…osteoporosis.
I’ve heard that it drops IQ-level by 15-points and was used in Russian prison camps to dumb down the population and make them obedient. Someone told me that Fluoride is a by-product of aluminum: when aluminum enters our body through vaccination it binds with fluoride and heads straight to the brain where it attaches. In the majority of Alzheimer patients, aluminum has been found in abundant supply within the brain. Is that true?
