My Mom has been on the depo (birth control) shot for twenty years. I heard from multiple people this can lead to osteoporosis. I talked her into going off of it.
What are some side effects she might experience? (She has a really terrible doctor, who truly does not care.)
Thanks!
How is it going/how did it go?
My doctor wants me to take 40 mg lovenox daily and a baby aspirin while pregnant to prevent blood clots. Sounds not-so-great. I obviously don’t want to inject myself daily with shots in the stomach, but more than that I worry about the risks – clots, hemmorhage, osteoporosis!
If you’ve taken this while pregnant please let me know about your experience.
Thanks!
It’s been derided as myth but now even doctors are convinced men with fatigue and flagging libido are going through …
Increasingly experts believe significant numbers of men do experience a decline in hormones in their middle and later years.

should she be worried about osteoporosis and osteoarthritis at this stage as she is very young to have a degenerative spinal condition? Any advice on treatment for her to relieve the pain without pills would be very usefull, thanks.
…osteoporosis.
I’ve heard that it drops IQ-level by 15-points and was used in Russian prison camps to dumb down the population and make them obedient. Someone told me that Fluoride is a by-product of aluminum: when aluminum enters our body through vaccination it binds with fluoride and heads straight to the brain where it attaches. In the majority of Alzheimer patients, aluminum has been found in abundant supply within the brain. Is that true?
they wont do injections because i also have osteoporosis and 2 bulging disk i cant take anymore if any one knows a good doctor or new treat ment plz give me your opinion!
This is regarding Osteoporosis. I have been diagnosed with Osteo… I am a women 60+ years of age. I am in constant pain and Ive been told there is no cure for Osteoporosis. I am currently taking Tremadol (pain killer) prescribed by my doctor. I wanted to know is there a better pain killer then Tremadol for Osteoporosis. Tremadol hasnt been working for me lately. Im in such pain at times I dont know what to do but cry.
calcium carbonate (Cacit + vit D) and Fosamax for 4 months, then calcium citrate (Citracal + vit D) and Fosamax since September. Over a total of 7 months my densitometry shows no improvement.
My doctor says it’s normal, it takes a long time… If this is so it will take forever!
Why does it worry me so much? I’m only 42 and it gave me a small tibia fracture, which only seems to heal very slowly, and I ‘m afraid there might be other fractures along the way.
Well, I know there’s no miracle cure, but I saw a shrink who told me that my depression hampers the recovery. He says I reject my own body as it is, and I subconsciously hamper its reconstruction. Does that make sense?
At 42 it makes me feel like an old man, I really didn’t that on top of AIDS.
Please give me some indications.
